On KDFW (Channel 4 Dallas) news tonight, they showed a new JFK film that was shot about 90 seconds before the assassination. The Sixth Floor museum has possesion of the film, and Gary Mack said that other than museum personel, this was the first time the film was shown publically.

Of interest, was Kennedy's coat, which showed to be unnaturally bunched up in the film. It's a very clear shot. I haven't had time to check and see if the film is on Channel 4's website (http://www.myfoxdfw.com/myfox/) or on the Sixth Floor's site www.jfk.org , but I'll bet it will be showing up soon.

UPDATE: Here's the film. http://www.jfk.org/research/jefferies/George_Jefferies_film.wmv . Thanks Gary for putting this online.

I noticed that Hill is riding on the rear step of the limo.

Tony

The entire cover up was contingent upon Humes going along with the LN scenario on Friday night.

Thanks a lot! Excellent film quality. A story to follow. I'm curious of the time the Jeffery filmed the TSBD.

It is on the Museum website frontpage, but not on Fox yet.

EDIT: By the way, check out the activities at the Museum:

Thanks JWK,

Anything new in this case is certainly welcomed.

>Of interest, was Kennedy's coat, which showed to be unnaturally bunched up in the film.<

I wouldn't worry too much about the bunched jacket, JFK's skin wasn't bunched, his vertebrae were not bunched.

The only significance I see would be the trajectory through the jacket to the entrance location on the skin. If the jacket is bunched then the shot came from a steeper angle (remember the 45 degree guess by Humes) than if it was smoothed out. It would mean a roof shooter as opposed to a say a second floor Dal-Tex shooter for that wound. Or an EARLIER hit. I think both have been covered here at great length.

Interesting to see Hill riding on the back of the limo at this point.

Ed

This clip demonstrates what I have been saying for years – The bunched jacket looks very different depending upon the view point. The attached image is a montage of screen captures from the film. It covers about a 1/2 second of time. Wildly different appearance…same bunch.

Thanks, Gary Mack. Hopefully it will give others the idea to make their film public. I wish Robert Huges, Charles Bronson and the others had had that quality of camera and film.

Well...

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/022007dnmetjfkfilm.16360b8d.html

Mr. Jefferies, 82, who now lives in the East Texas town of Gladewater, said he watched the motorcade with a co-worker. Mr. Jefferies was a fan of the president's, he said, and wanted to capture the parade on film.

"I wanted to go to Dealey Plaza because I knew the limousine would slow down when it turned down Houston Street and then again when it turned onto Dealey Plaza from Elm," he said.

When I first saw the film I thought it was shot by a local tv crew. Anyone know what make and model of camera that was used? It sure is focused way more clearly than the Zapruder film.

Good Day Everyone.... Thank You, Mr. GEORGE JEFFERIES, Mr. WAYNE GRAHAM, & your Loved Ones for bringing your film forward into The Light

:{ )-]

&, of course, Thanks to everyone at the "SFM" for preserving it.

....Now.... if GARY MACK could also, Please, publicly share his UPI/Dallas FBI file copy of the MOORMAN #5 polaroid.... :{ )-]

Did everyone also notice that at the very end of the JEFFERIES motorcade segment you can see another camera--possibly a 35mm SLR-- in the hands of someone standing very close/next to to Mr. JEFFERIES?!

Are there any other persons seen with cameras?

Found the following large bytes, cropped frame capture in an Australian article about the JEFFERIES film....

Can someone do a side-by-side comparison of the above film frame (rotated 90 degrees) with the 11-22-63 evening Bethesda autopsy photo captured of the president's left profile that crops on the neck wound to top of his head?

After a few viewings of the JEFFERIES film, imho, President KENNEDY's suit jacket's rear, upper bunch looks approximately the same heigth (maybe even a bit lower, and a bit flatter across its upper bunch) as when it was soon also seen in the ROBERT EARL CROFT photo, captured concurrent with Zf-160

http://216.122.129.112/dc/user_files/10239.txt

Has the JEFFERIES film segment showing DP on 11-23-63 been shown publicly?
